Peter and his wife, Betsy, live in Shelby Township. They have been married 25 years and have one daughter, Darcy, a graduate of Michigan State University. Music is very important to all of Peter’s family. It’s how Peter and Betsy met, their daughter was a Voice Performance major at MSU. Peter and Betsy enjoy performing with the 101 year old Madrigal Chorale. Peter has been a tenor in the chorale for 31 years while Betsy sings alto and is the Assistant Director. The Madrigal Chorale performs locally, and tours nationally and internationally. They recently accepted an invitation to sing at Carnegie Hall in 2017. Both Betsy and Peter attend and serve in various capacities at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Rochester.

Peter and Betsy enjoy spending time with their first grandson, "Prince" Teddy, and are anxious for the arrival of their second. Peter and Betsy have a weekly date night and they enjoy spend-ing time at the family cottage in Petoskey, vacationing with close friends and in taking an annual trek to the Atlantic Ocean in Virginia Beach.

Educated in the Flint Public Schools, he attended Mott Community College and University of Michigan as an accounting major. Peter did his internship program with an accounting firm and quickly determined that he did not want to become a CPA. He then started his career in 1984 as a Registered Representative. He has been in the financial services industry for the past 32 years as he currently holds his Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses registrations through LPL Financial and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Peter attributes his success in this industry by continuing to be passionate about helping clients identify their financial objectives and in the strategies and guidance he provides in working towards their financial dreams.

Peter adheres strictly to the industry’s code of ethics. He continues to fulfil annual continuing education requirements to remain current regarding trends and planning techniques within the industry.
